Establishment of
Ibom Science Park
The Park is a centre for technology interface and it
provides a proper ladder for technology start up.
Tenants of the park are scientific and technology based
companies such as Vee Networks Ltd (V mobile),
Technoconcept Inc. USA, China Electronic Corporation,
China Tinshilin Tecno among others.
Installation of Voice Wireless Networks (VSAT):
The Ministry installs VSAT in Government
House and for all members of executive council so that
all government officials can have easy communication
network.
Creating awareness and platform for
Researchers, Inventors and Innovators to market their
results.
This is done through the Ministry’s collaboration with
NOTAP for patenting and commercialization of inventions
and innovations.
Promotion and Encouragement of Indigenous
Researches, Inventions and Innovations:
The Ministry organizes some forum for exhibition of
innovations and inventions.
Human Capacity Building on Information
and Communication Technology:
The Ministry sensitizes and trains Hon. Commissioners
and Permanent Secretaries on the use of Information
Technology facilities in governance. |
