DIRECTORATE OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE

The Directorate is headed by the Director of Administration who reports to the Honourable Commissioner through the Permanent Secretary.   It is the nerve centre of the Ministry upon which all matters affecting the staff welfare and the Ministry’s Finance Management evolve.  These essentially include promotion, transfers, employment, payment of staff salaries and allowances and staff discipline.

Departmental selection board matters are processed by the Directorate.  It also constitutes the Tenders Board of the Ministry.  It has the duty of monitoring, analyzing and evaluating the programmes and projects of the Ministry.  It is in addition, responsible for the preparation and analyzing of the Ministry’s rolling plan and annual budgets.
