Civil Engineering:
Responsibilities of the
Civil Engineering Directorate are:
-
Assist in implementing
decisions/recommendations on matters relating to
planning and design of the State roads-urban
rural/structures;
-
Assist in the general
co-ordination and administration of the directorate;
-
Preparing and reviewing
bill of quantities for contracts awarded by the State
Government;
-
Designing of highways and
structures;
-
Appraisal of design and
contract documents prepared by consultants;
-
Vetting and approval of
building plans for Uyo Capital City Development
Authority;
-
Assist in the general
supervision of the construction/rehabilitation of
structures/State roads.
