Account Department:
The Account Directorate is
responsible for the following roles:

Preparation of annual
estimates of the Ministry;
-
Controlling and monitoring
the implementation of the estimates of the Ministry in consonance
with existing provisions of the Appropriation Laws and
Financial Regulations;

Signatory to accounts of
the Ministry;
-
Liaising with the office
of the Accountant General and sub-Treasury in respect of
Special and Standing Imprests and Touring Advances.
-
Ensuring the preparation
and submission of payment vouchers for payment of
personnel emolument and other charges.
