The Honourable Commissioner

The Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare has as the Hon. Commissioner, Prof. (Mrs.) Ekaete Etuk, a Biochemist by profession and a natural born woman leader with vast experience in gender issues.

The Permanent Secretary

The Ministry has five Directorates namely: Administration and Finance, Planning Research, and Statistics., Women Affairs, Child Development and Social Welfare.
